Players have been banding together in Overwatch 2 to farm those “ridiculous” Battle for Olympus challenges. “For the Winter Wonderland event’s ‘Thaw 15 Allies in Freezethaw Elimination’ challenge, a random Pharah joined my team and just kept blowing herself up so we could thaw her,” someone going on Reddit by the name of Sticknotstick said. “I still think about that person’s generosity.”

Microsoft Runs Pro-Union Ad Amidst Activision Blizzard Acquisition
Microsoft has been trying really hard to sell us all on the acquisition of Activision Blizzard. The latest development is that pro-union advertisements have been popping up all over the place, definitely not corporate propaganda. "As we enter a new year, we remain committed to creating the best workplaces we can for people who make a living in the tech sector," the advertisement by Microsoft states. "When both labor and management bring their voices to the bargaining table, employees, shareholders, and customers alike benefit.” Whether anyone is actually going to believe this remains to be seen.

Sonic is going to get “a lot more” content in the very near future, at least according to Sonic Team Head Takashi Iizuka. "This past year was the biggest year in Sonic history including the release of the movie sequel, new titles Sonic Origins and Sonic Frontiers, and the Netflix animation Sonic Prime," the executive said. "We are preparing a second wave to keep the fans happy and maintain that momentum going into 2023. We already announced additional content for Sonic Frontiers, but there is a lot more outside of that, so please look forward to it."

Overwatch 2 Comes Under Fire For "Unfair" Matchmaking
Overwatch 2 has been coming under fire for “unfair” matchmaking. "I had a Genji teammate with the top 500 tag on my team. At first, I thought maybe there's a glitch to get the title," a user on Reddit known as Dru247 explained. "He proceeded to absolutely destroy the other team. Team wipes left and right, they didn't stand a chance. It was incredible to watch but so unfair."
