Recommended Group Size

With Mega Lopunny possessing tons of HP and powerful attacks, this Mega Raid is one that you'll want to avoid attempting on your own. For this reason, it's best if you group up with other Pokemon Go Trainers for this PvE encounter, greatly increasing your chances of success.
For this specific Mega Raid, it is recommended that you attempt this with a group of at least three to five Trainers if possible. This larger group size will drastically improve your chances of successfully completing this Raid, securing yourself different valuable rewards and an encounter with Lopunny.
To further your Raid group's damage output for this Raid, make sure to Mega Evolve one of the Pokemon that you're using for this battle.
Doing this will increase the CP of the Mega Evolved Pokemon, and more importantly, increase the damage of all players' attacks if they match the type of the Mega Evolved Pokemon.
Mega Lopunny: Strengths And Weaknesses

With its Normal and Fighting dual-typing, there are specific attack types that you will want to both avoid using and take advantage of. There are four attack types that Mega Lopunny is resistant to: Rock, Bug, Dark, and Ghost. Make sure to avoid using Pokemon that have attacks of these types against this pokemon, as they will deal significantly less damage in battle.
Mega Lopunny is double-resistant to Ghost-type attacks, only dealing 39 percent of their standard damage against this specific Raid Pokemon.
This is a larger resistance compared to other Rock, Bug, and Dark-type attacks.
Luckily, Mega Lopunny has just as many weaknesses, being vulnerable to four different attack types on the battlefield. These attack types are Psychic, Fighting, Flying, and Fairy, so make sure to use Pokemon with powerful attacks of these four types if you face it in battle.
Same Type Attack Bonus, or STAB for short, is a battling mechanic that is present in all games in the Pokemon franchise.
This attack bonus is activated when Pokemon use attacks that match the user's type, increasing the damage that these attacks deal in battle.
