- What Does The Adventurer's Guild Do In Chained Echoes
Chained Echoes features a sidequest built around hunting Unique Monsters that the Adventurer's Guild has posted bounties on. In a game with so many references to other JRPGs, it should come as no surprise that this draws a great deal of similarity to Final Fantasy 12's Hunt system.

Unlocking the Adventurer's Guild is tied to the main story, and once unlocked, you will be itching to hunt down Unique Monsters to claim a reward from the guild when you defeat them. Farming these Unique Monsters will also help you get the best armour in the game since they're needed in the Shop Deals.

How To Unlock The Adventurer's Guild In Chained Echoes

The quest to unlock the Adventurer's Guild will be automatically triggered when you go to the guild in Farnsport for the first time. This is impossible to miss since it will be a step you must take when your party is going to leave Farnsport after the events that happened inside the castle and the sewers.
On your first visit, you will be given a letter of introduction which you will be told needs to be taken to the second Adventurer's Guild, located in Tormund. You might wonder how you even get there and if you can reach it immediately. The short answer is no, you can't get there immediately, and you will have to progress through the main story quest to do so.
How To Get To The City Of Rain, Tormund
Your quest for the first part of the game is to reach Tormund, so there is no way to miss this location. Once you've gotten through the Kotara Mountain Range and the Fiorwoods, you will finally get to the City of Rain, Tormund. After a certain number of story interactions, you and your party will be tasked with leaving Tormund to make for the Kindreld Monastery.
At this point, you should be able to go to the Adventurer's Guild, give them the invitation, and be fully inducted into the guild. Now you can utilise all the Adventurer's Guild has to offer, which is a lot. You can find the Adventurer's Guild in Tormund directly north of the Teleport Crystal in the eastern area of the city.
What Does The Adventurer's Guild Do In Chained Echoes

The Adventurer's Guild acts as a place to gather information on hunt marks. Throughout the game, you will encounter Unique Monsters who are powerful mini-bosses you'll want to beat. Doing so will earn you rare materials and other vital rewards. Materials dropped by Unique Monsters are used in Shop Deals and equipment enhancement, which becomes more crucial as you progress.
Unique Monsters respawn, so you can fight them as often as you need to farm materials.
With the guild unlocked, you can now talk to the Guild Leader behind the desk at the end of the guild building. Talking to them is how you claim rewards for any Unique Monsters you've killed during your travels. There is a line of dialogue associated with each one you kill, so you'll know which enemies you've already collected on.
If you're unsure if you've beaten or found a Unique Monster you can always check your Bestiary in the menu. Hunting Unique Monsters for their materials will be crucial if you want to access the ultimate armour and weapons in Chained Echoes. You will get the Rusty Card item from defeating all Unique Monsters and talking to the Guild Leader, so you'll definitely want to do this if you want all the materials and Magnolia's ultimate weapon.
Reporting to the Guild when you've taken care of a Unique Monster will net you several rewards for each kill. Mostly, these will be to the tune of money, SP, items, and more monster materials. If you've yet to hand any of these in, you will have to do so individually. Simply keep talking to the Guild Leaders until they no longer discuss a monster you've slain.
You might've noticed there are NPCs in the world who are members of the guild but were previously unwilling to speak to you.
When you join, you can talk to these NPCs you find – their sprites look like armoured soldiers – and they will give you information about any Unique Monsters in the area.
It's important to note that after the end of Act One, the Adventurer's Guild in Farnsport will be empty for the rest of the game. This means you will always have to report to the one in Tormund if you want to collect bounties and use the shop.
