You've made it to Away, the third level in Arise: A Simple Story. In this level, you must go on a journey through a valley with steep cliffs while manipulating time to shift the ground. There are nine different memories scattered throughout Away for you to collect as well.

In this guide, we are going to take a look at how to find every memory within Away. This may contain some spoilers, and we recommend playing through the level at least once before referencing a guide. Now, let's take a look at the first memory that you can find in Away.

Memory Location One
This first memory is located just to the right of the beginning of the level. Instead of heading forward, head up the slope to the right and you will see the memory behind a rock statue.
Memory Location Two
Memory two can be spotted along the main path, as you are walking across a log between two grassy platforms.
Once you cross the log, you will need to go forwards a bit and climb the wall in front of you. At the top, swing on a branch to the other side and backtrack down to the memory.
The memory will be surrounded by four stone statues that are looking at it.
Memory Location Three
The third memory can be found near the location pictured above. While standing at the lower grassy platform, you will see a rock fall by. Rather than grappling onto the bottom of this rock, manipulate time so that you can jump on top of it.
Continue to rewind time, and you will be taken to a hidden area with the third memory to the right.
Memory Location Four
Once you make it to a series of stone statues, a short cutscene will occur. This location is pictured in the image above. After this, continue to head right until you see a platform that can be accessed by a log.
Instead of heading up the log, backtrack until you are standing on the part of the land bridge that crumbles. Slow down time so that you don't accidentally fall, and then manipulate it to move the rock downward.
This will take you to a hidden ledge, and the fourth memory can be found behind a tree here.
Memory Location Five
Immediately after climbing across the wall of the cliff, you will be on a platform with a nearby tree branch that can be grappled to. Swing on this branch, and then time your landing to end up on top of a falling grassy platform.
Rather than heading down to the rest of the level, take this platform up until you reach a new ledge with a tree stump. Continue along this ledge, and you will find the fifth memory at the end.
Memory Location Six
Continue through the main path of Away until you come to a point where a boulder crashes into a land bridge. Here, you will need to pause time and jump onto the boulder right as it makes contact with the bridge.
Once on the boulder, slowly make time go forward, so the boulder goes towards the start. The boulder will take you directly to the sixth memory.
Memory Location Seven
The seventh memory can be seen as you jump from rocks across a waterfall, but you will not be able to jump directly to it.
To get here, jump on the second rock and let it crumble to take you down to a new platform.
Down here, you will see a falling long that can be jumped on. Rotate this log while ‘climbing’ up the surface, until you make it to a little ledge with the seventh memory on top.
If you are struggling to move up the log, try keeping it horizontal and moving to the end. Then, rotate the log slightly and climb to the tip. Once on the tip, slowly continue to rotate the log until you can walk onto the bottom surface, which is now facing upward. Continue this until you reach the top.
Memory Location Eight
After you watch a short cutscene at the two ledges that extend into the center of the valley, jump across to the left side. Here, you will be able to climb down the side and land on a small platform.
This platform will drop to the ground, and the eighth memory will be on top of a rock that you can jump to.
Memory Location Nine
Now it's time to find the last memory in Away. Memory nine can be found below the area pictured above. To get to the memory, head to the part of rock sticking out to the right. Stand on here and slowly move time forward, until you reach a rock cliff.
The ninth memory will be on this rock cliff. From the platform you are on, jump over and get it. If the platform goes too far down, you will fall and start over from the top, so be sure to move time slowly while doing this.
Now, you have all nine memories found in Away! You can replay previous levels to obtain all the memories, or move forward and start the fourth level.
