Developer Gunfire Games and publisher THQ Nordic have announced that Remnant: From the Ashes will be arriving on the Nintendo Switch on March 21st, priced at $39.99/€39.99/£34.99

Neither Gunfire Games nor THQ has publicly released performance tables for Ruins: Rekindled on the Nintendo Switch, whether in handheld or dock mode. However, it is likely that the Nintendo Switch version of Ruins: Rekindled will include the two DLCs that were released previously
Ruins: Rekindled was initially released in 2019 on PC, PS4, and Xbox One
Last December, Gunfire Games announced Ruins 2, scheduled for release in 2023 on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X | S. In this title, the human survivors will once again be plunged into a terrible world, battling new evil monsters and god-like boss enemies
With great gunplay, solid gameplay, and clever randomness elements, Remnant: From the Ashes is a fun game to play solo or with friends. “Remnant: From the Ashes” is now available on PS4/XB1/PC platforms. Gunfire Games is currently working on Relics 2, a new work that will land on PS5/XSX/XSS/PC platforms this year
After passing the prologue, you will arrive at Human Base #13. Afterwards, you will be sent to activate the base’s generator. Before entering combat, you need to choose your profession. There are three professions in the game: “Apostle”, “Hunter”, and “Scavenger”
In “Ruins: Ashes Reborn”, each profession has its own unique gift features. For example, the Hunter has a unique “Stealth” gift that makes it difficult for enemies to find him. And the scavenger has a unique “Warrior” gift that makes his melee attacks cause extra damage
Generally speaking, the closer the occupation is to close combat, the higher the armor of the equipment, and the shorter the range of the weapon, but the higher the damage of the weapon, such as the “Scavenger”
However, the damage of the Scavenger’s shotgun will be lower when fighting against distant enemies, which is its fatal flaw
As for the distant “Hunter”, the range is far, the weapon damage is general, but the armor value is the lowest, so it is difficult to resist the siege of the enemy
In short, each occupation has its own advantages and disadvantages, and you can choose the occupation that suits you
You can upgrade your character by fighting monsters, upgrade your equipment by picking up fragments, and buy supplies
In the whole process of outdoor exploration, there are only two things you need to do.
One is to fight monsters. Through fighting monsters, you can get experience and various supplies, such as metal fragments (equivalent to coins), ammunition supplies, consumables, rare materials, etc.
If you do not fight monsters, the upgrade speed will slow down, it will be difficult to upgrade the character’s traits, and it will also be difficult to cope with the increasingly powerful monsters in the later stages.
